Katherine is an attorney, popular platform speaker and has authored two books: Protecting Your Practice and The Compliance and Liability Handbook in addition to almost one hundred articles.

Katherine is known for her entertaining style and practical suggestions for building and protecting a business – while making it more fun and profitable. As a consultant, she works with broker/dealers, RIAs and financial service providers to build safer, better and more profitable businesses.

In 1984, she became a financial planner, obtaining her securities, insurance and registered investment advisory licenses. Katherine left personal financial planning in 1989 to become Vice President and Officer of the IDS Mutual Fund Group (now American Express Financial Advisors). Currently she is President of Vestment Advisors, and she is co-authoring their next book, Become a Multimillion Dollar Financial Advisor.
